What it costs
Up to 23 guests: order from the regular menu. No package and no minimum per head. You pay for what the table orders. Most groups this size do best ordering family style so everyone shares.
24 guests and above: $75 per person. At that size we close the restaurant and the whole place is yours for the evening. That covers salads, appetizers and a family-style spread of kebabs, with soda and mineral water included. Children under 10 are $25. Add lamb chops for $10 a head, fish for $5, soup for $5, or cake with coffee and tea for $10. The full spread is on our Party/Banquet Menu.
The reason the price changes at 24 is simple. Below that we seat you in the private room and keep serving other guests. At 24 we are turning the rest of the night away to hold the space for you.
Booking, deposits and cake
Bring your own cake. No charge. Plenty of families have a bakery they have used for years, and we are not going to get between you and it. If you would rather we handled dessert, cake with coffee and tea is $10 per person.
The deposit is 10% of the estimated total, and it is refundable with 48 hours notice. Cancel or change your date at least two days ahead and you get the deposit back. Inside 48 hours we have already turned away the tables, so we cannot.
Dates are first come, first served. We take one party at a time. If the date is open, we will hold the space for you. If there are already reservations on the books for that evening, we cannot close the restaurant around them, and we will say so straight away rather than leave you waiting on a maybe.
Give us a week for a larger party. More is better, and December goes first. For a small group you can often call the same week, but for anything approaching a buyout, a week of notice is what lets us do it properly.
